Munich, France, and Things I Miss

Last weekend I was in Munich (soon to be my new home).  I decided to trade in one tourist town for a larger, more famous tourist town.  On Thursday I will be meeting Kim to drive around France. Yippee!  So with all my thoughts on European travel, I thought I would make a list of all of the things I miss about America.

So here they are in no particular order:

1. Polite senior citizens - I am honestly afraid of the old people here. They run into you and act like it is your fault.

2. Stick deoderant - sprays, gels, WTF?

3. Comcast - I would really like to have reliable internet. I think my friend Kate in Cambodia has better access than I do.

4. Annie's Mac and Cheese - no explanation required

5. Netflix - I am getting tired of watching every movie in little sections on Youtube

6. Gallons of Milk

7. Marquand Library

8. Good wine - Soon to be remedied!

Ok so the list might go on forever...

  1. Funny, we miss nearly all of the same things. And yes, my internet is better than yours. But I think I owe my first-born child to the internet company here, so that might have something to do with it.

  2. I totally understand/agree with #8...we should really be splitting a bottle of nice wine at Soho on George right now. But #7??? You gotta be kidding me....
